A Question of Atheism
Written by Mathew Naismith
I wrote this post in relation to the following query.
I'm Christian and also with YouMe Social. I don't visit it regularly but wanted to check it out as I came across it from an article about FB alternatives. But, if what you say is true, I then I will cancel my account.”

Having experienced numerous interactions with atheists, they state very few claims of their own while at the same time supplying as little evidence to their claims as possible. This is to deceptively avoid their own claims and beliefs being questioned, this includes supplying as little evidence as possible to their claims as all evidence can also be questioned. Of course when they do state a claim, as above, they don't support this claim with actual evidence, just simple allegations and assumptions!!
OK, this is the way I look at it. If you are a member of Youme, you represent Youme but if you are an admin, moderator or what ever of Youme in any way, you represent Youme and it's members.
A footballer's conduct off field is as important to the football club as their conduct on field, this is overseen by the football league itself as any misconduct by the players representing the football league comes back on the football league itself, not just the football club. Look at Youme as the league and the groups as the clubs. Should we accept extremists and people who want to dominate us all on Youme with their own views and thoughts? Yes, a members conduct off field matters to Youme as much as the conduct on field. Also, try to look at the members of Youeme as being the players of the football league.
Am I being unreasonable? Not if we want a sustainable free thinking social network, of course there are members who don't want this, we must take this into consideration as well.
Also, please keep to the main topic of an OP as much as possible. It is a simple show of respect and maturity, not just for the presenter of the OP but to Youme's members as a whole. Yes, we all need to be reminded of this especially when of opposing views, this is quite understandable.
Atheism totally relies on the existence of a belief system to exist, in other words atheism to exist totally relies on a belief system to disbelieve in. Yes, this is the kind of material I wrote on youme social. How long was a radicalised atheist social group going to put up with this much truth and questioning of their doctrines? Yes, I also proved atheism has dogmatic doctrines.
Now I was accused by atheists on youme social a number of times not liking my own views questioned, so what group of people on youme intimidated and removed a person questioning their beliefs, disbelief's and doctrines in the end? The end result says it all. I actually asked to be removed due to endless intimidation by atheists on youme, even after leaving youme social as follow.
Jamez Frondeskias You got evicted from the site for your language and behaviour towards one female member on the site and the tirade of [and i will be nice with the following words] "compliments" you paid one of the female moderators in a chat.
You chose to take the path that resulted in you being
kicked out. Maybe, rather than blame everyone else, you look - as I
suggested numerous times - to read your own comments as an outsider
and see how they came across.
Don't blame others for your own actions Mathew.”
There was talk on youme that I was going to be made a moderator, seen as this was not corrected, I assumed this was the case. My language never resulted in calling people names, but I was called numerous names by atheists when questioning their beliefs.
The following is the reply to Heather, the humanity group moderator, t the exact same reply I was intimidated for, all by known atheists strangely enough.
Of
course not, going deliberately off topic numerous times is what,
especially when asked a number of times to stay on topic. It is not a
debate when you go off topic like this, so what is it Heather? Simply
an argumentative exchange which has no purpose but to intimidate. So
it is obvious you encourage argumentative exchanges it would
seem!!
Humanity = The quality of being human
Debate
= A discussion in which reasons are advanced for and against some
proposition or proposal
I cannot see where obvious
argumentative exchanges comes under either debate or humanity!!
It
would also seem you encourage that no one should stay on topic as
well. Not only this, you encourage people to go off topic as well as
enforcing argumentative exchanges!!
So showing a deliberate disrespect for the presenter of the OP isn't rude to you, even when asked numerous times to stay on topic? Actually, Grace was never on topic from the start.
Intimidate
= Make timid or fearful, To compel or deter by or as if by
threats
Especially after your response here, I am fearful of
putting myself through such an unwarranted behaviour again that has
nothing to do with the OP. So actually you are encouraging
intimidation as well it would seem!!
This is certainly a
threat to human decency wouldn't you say Heather? So as long as you
are indecent, the humanity group is for you? You are actually asking
me to put up with intimidation and indecency, in a humanity
group!!
Indecency = An indecent or improper act
I
had no idea you were like this Heather, so be it.
In the
future Heather, please, never ask me to put up with obvious indecency
and intimidation again as I have proven here. I am an advocate
against abuse, I will not tolerate abuse of this kind by people like
you and Grace in any group or social network. OK, you are obviously
an advocate for abuse which simply says we will never see eye to
eye.
Unbelievable and they wonder why the world is the way it is!!"
On another social network, I have numerous friends and I have been asked to join a number of groups, unlike Youme. If the problem was with me, why is this quite the opposite on another social network? The honest answer is quite interesting."
